FAQs

I keep pressing the ZERO or UNITS button but nothing happens. What’s wrong?: Because the buttons are part of the surface of the scale, you need to make sure you are pressing squarely in the center of the button with the pad of your finger. If this still doesn’t work, please contact Customer Support for additional help.

Why does it take so long to zero or settle on a weight?: Because the whole glass top of the scale is a weighing mechanism, it will take a moment to register your attempt to zero. If your scale is still not responding after giving it a short amount of time to register the button press, please contact Customer Support for additional help.

How do I change the unit of measure?: Tap the UNITS button to switch between grams, ounces, fluid ounces, and milliliters.

LOW BATTERY
When you see this symbol, the batteries need to be replaced. Open the battery door on the back of the scale, and insert 1 new CR2032 battery.

OVERLOAD

There is too much weight on the scale (Capacity: 11lb ). Please remove the weight on the scale to protect the scale sensor.

WARRANTY TERMS

This product is covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, and we promise to deliver great customer service for the lifetime of your scale. While your warranty does not cover damage or mistreatment to your scale, our priority is your happiness, and we encourage you to contact us about any issues you might have.

Terms: Your scale is warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the original purchaser from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.

Void Warranty: The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to mechanical damage or mistreatment, such as immersion. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, and limits the liability of the manufacturer. This warranty gives you certain legal rights and you may have other rights depending on which state the product was purchased in.

Defective Product: If your scale is defective, please contact Greater Goods, LLC (that’s us!)

WARNINGS & STANDARDS

General Safety Information

Do not immerse this product in water or any other liquid, or put it in the dishwasher. Please keep dry surface. Clean the scale with a soft damp cloth; do not use chemicals or harsh abrasives. For stains or other residue, use a mild dishwashing soap.
This scale is only meant for consumer use, and is not intended for commercial or medical applications.
Place the scale on a hard, level surface before use.
This scale contains highly sensitive electronic equipment. Avoid hitting or dropping the scale—otherwise, damage may occur. Do not attempt to tamper with any internal components, or you will void your warranty.
Do not overload the scale or put heavy things on the scale when not use. It is designed to hold up to 11 pounds; if overloaded, it will display the error message “EEEE”. Remove the weight to prevent damage.
If the scale is not to be used for long periods, it’s recommended to remove the battery to avoid damage to the scale due to possible battery leakage.
Keep the battery out of reach of children.
Do not mix old and new batteries, with different compositions or of different brands in order to prevent possible leakage, explosion.
Do not heat or deform the batteries or dispose of in fire.
Waste batteries should not disposed of with household waste. Please check with your local authority for battery recycling advice.

The weighing surface of your scale is made from tempered glass. While the type of glass we use is highly durable, it is still subject to breakage if used improperly. Don’t drop your scale or treat it roughly. In the rare case that the glass does shatter, make sure to clean it up properly and keep it away from bare hands and feet.
